AIRFARES
Return economy class flights Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney > Munich > Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney (via one stop in each direction) to include airline taxes budgeted at $300 per person and subject to change.
Included airfare is an estimation only. Fare subject to change upon release of firm fares within 12 months to departure. Suitable airlines and flight schedules to be reviewed upon release of 2026 travel dates.
ACCOMMODATION
2x overnights in Salzburg in Berghof Graml, Austria Trend Salzburg Messe, Hotel Jufa Altenmarkt or similar
5x overnights in Vienna in JUFA Wien City Hotel, Eventhotel Pyramide or similar

Participation fee: For students, the organization fee per person includes the following festival services (that are not subsidized by public or private sponsors):
- Opening ceremony in St. Stephen’s Cathedral
- Two workshops at the University of Music
- Two additional concerts in and around Vienna
- Competition only: one performance in front of the jury in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and possibly (the performing groups will be selected by the jury) a performance during the Gala Winners’ concert in the Konzerthaus
- Celebration only: one performance in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein
- Closing ceremony in the City Hall Vienna
- Diplomas for every participant for the workshops attended at the University of Music
- Online presentation of the biography of the group and the exact festival program
- Printed festival program for every participant and conductor
- Participation certificates for every group and every participant.
For chaperones/adults (subject to availability and reconfirmation):
- The Gala Winners’ Concert ticket at the Konzerthaus (Cat.3 worth € 72,00 per ticket)
- Free entrance to all festival activities (except workshops/Academy program) including Closing Ceremony.
Note: All venues of the SCL Festival are subject to reconfirmation when event preparations are underway.
CONCERTS
- 1 professionally organized and promoted concert with other SCL ensembles in Salzburg
- 2 professionally organized and promoted SCL additional concerts in or around Vienna
- 1 professionally organized and promoted concert with other SCL ensembles in Prague
Concert arrangements include the following:
- Venue Hire, Publicity including flyers and posters for each concert & Concert Program.
MISCELLANEOUS
- All local taxes & all gratuities (for hotel and restaurant staff, etc.)
- 1.5hrs rehearsal in Vienna hotel prior to competition/celebration and a short soundcheck before each concert included
- Gullivers tour bag.
This afternoon you will gather at your capital city International Airport to meet your flight to Munich, Germany.
Depart in the afternoon for your flight with one stop connecting you en route to your destination.
Arrival at Munich International Airport.
Upon arrival, you will be met by an English-speaking tour manager experienced in concert tour management. They will guide you to your Deluxe air-conditioned private coach.
Travel to Salzburg Area and depart on a Guided Sound of Music Tour with an English-speaking local guide: Discover Salzburg in the footsteps of the Sound of Music and see the locations where the world-famous movie was shot. Some of the highlights and film locations that you will see on your tour include: The Gardens of Mirabell Palace, Leopoldskron Palace, Hellbrunn Nonnberg Abbey, St Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang.
After the tour, check into your hotel where you will be accommodated for the next two nights on a bed and breakfast basis (Berghof Graml, Austria Trend Salzburg Messe, Hotel JUFA Altenmarkt or similar).

This morning, the group will enjoy a guided city tour with an English-speaking local guide: Explore Salzburg Dom, Festival Hall, Mirabell Palace and entrance to Mozart’s Birthplace.

Check out of your hotel and travel to Vienna.

Official Welcome Ceremony of the SCL Festival
Attend the welcome ceremony at Konzerthaus Vienna in the city centre of Vienna (Venue subject to reconfirmation).

Today there will be a guided city tour with an English-speaking local guide. Explore
Vienna Inner City & the Ring Road. Entrance to one museum included - Explore
one of the famous Viennese museums such as Museum of fine arts, a famous
composer house or the Collection of Historic Musical Instruments at Musikverein.
SCL Festival Choir Competition & Choir Celebration Concert Performance.
#2 Concert Performance
Perform in Vienna or surroundings - Possible venues: MuTh, House of Music,
Casino Zögernitz (House of Strauss) or similar.
Dinner this evening at a local restaurant or hotel.

Gala Winner’s Concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus (venue subject to reconfirmation)
- Academy Program and Group Picture

Return to your hotel at the end of the evening.

Today the adventure continues to Prague, Czech Republic (Driving time approx. 4.5hrs -330km).
Upon arrival, check in at one of the following hotels - Hotel Duo, Hotel Globus or similar. Here you will stay for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Today, there will be a guided city tour with an English-speaking local guide: Explore the inner city of Prague, including Charles Bridge and the magnificent medieval old town (no entrances included).
#4 Concert Performance
SCL International Encounter Concert at world famous Smetana Hall or a similar
Share the stage with other SCL ensembles. Performing time approximately 10-15 minutes depending on concert schedule.
Dinner this evening at a local restaurant or hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out.
Today you farewell Prague and transfer on to Munich (Driving time approx. 5hrs - 390 km).
Guided city tour with an English-Speaking local guide: Explore the Frauenkirche, the City Hall with its musical Clock on Marienplatz, the Residenz Palace and the Opera House. No entrances included.
After the tour, check in at your hotel where you will overnight including breakfast - Hotel H2 Olympiapark, Hotel Super 8 or similar.
Spend the remainder of your day enjoying Munich and perhaps doing some last-minute shopping for gifts.
