Phil was an influential player both on and off the field, Phil played 136 games for the Waratahs (58 as captain).
Phil was also awarded with 79 tests for Australia (3 as captain) which involved 2 Rugby World Cups (RWC 2003, RWC 2007)
Phil Waugh is an experienced tour leader with Gullivers having joined us for both the RWC England 2015 & RWC Japan 2019.
We are delighted Phil has returned to lead this extraordinary tour. Which starts from Paris to the Alps and back.
Phil is looking forward to sharing some great rugby insights for those in his RWC 2023 France tour.

Mark Ella, An Australian Rugby Great! Grand Slam, Bledisloe Cup, “Randwick Running Rugby”, need we say more?
Mark Ella is one of 3 brothers (Glen & Gary Ella) that represented the Australia at the same time.
Mark represented Australia for a total of 25 International Test caps before retiring at the young age of 25 years old.
Stories about “the Ella’s” are still echoed in rugby circles all over the world. Their attractive way they played to ‘bamboozle’ defence lines in their time is still yet to be replicated.
Mark coached at all levels after his playing career. And is still very influential in Australian Rugby to represent the game and his Indigenous background.
Mark led a tour for Gullivers in Japan at RWC 2019, and is very much looking forward to leading Rugby Supporters to RWC 2023 in France.
