Coach 1

Robbie Deans

Robbie Deans is a Former All Black and is part of the Canterbury Rugby Alumni that is influencing modern Rugby all over the world.
Robbie coached Canterbury and the Crusaders to titles in their very successful era from 2000- 2008
Robbie moved on to coach the Wallabies to RWC 2011 in New Zealand. The Wallabies fell short losing to eventual winners their rivals the New Zealand All Blacks.
Robbie is currently coach of the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan.

Tony Dempsey

Tony Dempsey, Gordon Great, Waratah and Wallaby stalwart.
Tony is know for his Contests, Contacts and Competitiveness on the field. There are plenty of stories from old teammates and opposing players in the 90’s to back up Tony’s on field approach.
Tony was the founding President of the Rugby Union Players Association (RUPA).
An organisation that helped Australian Rugby Players transition from amateur player professional sportsperson.
Tony shares his experiences in his book ‘For Love & Money’.
Tony is founder and principal of Dempsey Law Firm
Coach 2

Darren Coleman

Darren Coleman, is a South West Rocks boy from the Mid-North Coast of NSW. Played in Sydney Club rugby from 1995 to 2000.

Darren has coached all over from the Emus in Penrith to the Calgary Mavericks in Canada. Benevento in Italy to Toyota in Japan.

Darren is known for his success at Shute Shield Sydney District rugby. At Warringah (2017 Shute Shield Premiers) and Gordon (2020 Shute Shield Premiers). Capping off back to back winning Rugby seasons with a Championship in the MLR (USA Pro Rugby) with the LA Giltinis in 2021.

Before his most recent appointment as NSW Waratahs Head Coach. Darren was Assistant and Academy coach for both the Waratahs (1998 – 2000) and Brumbies (2009 – 2011).

Darren is very familiar with a tour. His knowledge will give you a great insight to the rugby. Best of all, Darren understands the importance of rugby spirit. Which with Darren helping to lead the tour, you will leave with a great touring experience.

Coach 3

Heath Tessman

Heath Tessman is a fan favourite at the Western Force.
‘Tess’ hails from Queensland, where he continues to pump up the tyres of his beloved ‘Heavies’ from UQ.
‘Tess’ A member of the Nedlands club in Perth, the recently retired Force hooker.
Current Wallabies are Tess’s peers and has more intimate insight to players and their intentions.
‘Tess’ loves nothing more than discussing the dark arts of scrummaging, rolling mauls long into the night over a glass of red.
Coach 3

Mick Colliss

Mick Colliss is an author, poet and keynote speaker and is easily the least accomplished rugby player of the three tour leaders.
He does, however, know what it’s like to represent his country at the international level, having toured India as the vice captain of the Australian sudoku team to compete at the World Sudoku Championships.

Mitch Hardy

Mitch Hardy Wallaby #735 is former Gordon and ACT Brumbies winger. He is back again to host after leading a similar tour during the RWC 2007 in France.
Mitch’s Test debut was more memorable than most when he scored two tries off the bench. In Australia’s 29 – 15 win over France in 1998.
Mitch spent many seasons playing in Brive, France.
Mitch will provide plenty of inside knowledge that will add to your RWC France experience.
