Darren Coleman, is a Kempsey boy from the Mid-North Coast of NSW. Played in Sydney Club rugby from 1995 to 2000.
Darren has coached all over from the Emus in Penrith to the Calgary Mavericks in Canada. Benevento in Italy to Toyota in Japan.
Darren is known for his success at Shute Shield Sydney District rugby. At Warringah (2017 Shute Shield Premiers) and Gordon (2020 Shute Shield Premiers). Capping off back to back winning Rugby seasons with a Championship in the MLR (USA Pro Rugby) with the LA Giltinis in 2021.
Before his most recent appointment as NSW Waratahs Head Coach. Darren was Assistant and Academy coach for both the Waratahs (1998 – 2000) and Brumbies (2009 – 2011).
Darren is very familiar with a tour. His knowledge will give you a great insight to the rugby. Best of all, Darren understands the importance of rugby spirit. Which with Darren helping to lead the tour, you will leave with a great touring experience.

Phil was an influential player both on and off the field, Phil played 136 games for the Waratahs (58 as captain).
Phil was also awarded with 79 tests for Australia (3 as captain) which involved 2 Rugby World Cups (RWC 2003, RWC 2007)
Phil Waugh is an experienced tour leader with Gullivers having joined us for both the RWC England 2015 & RWC Japan 2019.
We are delighted Phil has returned to lead this extraordinary tour. Which starts from Paris to the Alps and back.
Phil is looking forward to sharing some great rugby insights for those in his RWC 2023 France tour.


‘Speed’ has been a been a member of the NSW Rugby Judiciary Panel since 2011. Also, former coach of the Australian under 21 team.
To give light to the nickname as quoted in Eddie Jones latest book, “We had been coached in the reserves by Ian ‘Speed’ Kennedy. We called him ‘Speed’ because he had been the slowest forward on the field when he was club captain.”
‘Speed’ is an experienced tour leader having led groups for Gullivers for four Rugby World Cup’s, RWC 2023 will be his 5th.
