The Living Italy Tour 2026
Italy
23rd September - 4th October, 2026
A 12-day immersive journey through Italy’s most soulful regions, where wine, wild landscapes, wellness, ancient traditions and regenerative food culture come together.
Overview
Gullivers & Arpeggio Wines invite you to join us on a journey through the living heart of Italy, beginning in the Nebbiolo vineyards of Barolo and unfolding south through Liguria, Tuscany and finally to Rome. Designed around the philosophy of slow travel, this experience blends biodynamic wine, wild landscapes, organic cuisine and centuries-old traditions into a seamless narrative of place.
You will stay in refined countryside relais and vineyard resorts with spa facilities, dine in historic cellars and family osterias, and enjoy the quiet luxury of time, space and wellbeing woven throughout.
In Piemonte, the rhythm is earthy and restorative. You will forage for spontaneous herbs with a local expert, cook alongside private chefs, taste iconic Barolo among aging barrels, explore medieval towers and participate in truffle hunting guided by local families and their dogs. From honey sensory workshops and biodynamic cellars to hazelnut groves and Alta Langa landscapes by e-bike or on foot, each day gently balances activity with moments of pause, connecting you to the land and its custodians.
As the journey continues into Tuscany and Liguria, the experience deepens into Italy’s cultural and natural vitality. Prepare fresh pesto in a Ligurian home kitchen, wander the Renaissance streets of Florence and Siena, ride horseback through Chianti vineyards and taste Vino Nobile in Montepulciano. The journey concludes in the thermal waters of Saturnia, where mineral-rich springs offer deep relaxation and renewal.
