We are proud to have partnered with Adam Liaw over the years, a cook, writer, and broadcaster whose extraordinary talents and achievements resonate deeply with audiences around the world.

Adam is the author of nine acclaimed cookbooks and has hosted a diverse range of television and audio programs, including The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (SBS), Destination Flavour (SBS), and How Taste Changed the World (Audible). His contributions to Australian media extend to Tomorrow Tonight (ABC) and Who The Bloody Hell Are We? (SBS), showcasing his versatility as a storyteller and presenter.

Beyond his media career, Adam has established himself as one of Australia’s most sought-after writers, contributing columns to The Wall Street Journal’s Scene Asia, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and Sunday Life magazine.

Adam’s expertise extends far beyond the kitchen. He is an experienced lawyer and non-executive director with a focus on the arts, education, and diplomacy. Currently, he serves as Deputy Chair of the Museum of Chinese in Australia (MOCA) and holds board positions with TAFE NSW, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), the Australia-Japan Foundation, the Sydney Japanese International School, and The Australian Father’s Day Council.

As co-Managing Director of i8 Studio, a Sydney-based television production company, Adam combines his legal expertise, scientific background, and management experience with a passion for fostering corporate diversity. He also provides invaluable guidance in governance, fundraising, and marketing, sitting on the Audit & Risk Committees of both TMAG and MOCA.

Fluent in English, Japanese, and conversational Mandarin, Adam brings a global perspective to every endeavour. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Adelaide.
