With a history dating back to 1888, the Lions tours predate the era of modern mass communication and air travel. This long tradition has shaped rugby's cultural heritage, contributing to a legacy of epic contests and unforgettable moments.

 

The Lions' tours provide a blend of rivalry and camaraderie, uniting some of the best rugby talents from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

 

This tour is part of Australia's "golden decade" of rugby events leading up to the Rugby World Cups in 2027 (men) and 2029 (women), and Rugby Sevens at the Brisbane Olympics in 2032.
