Allan "Alfie" Langer is one of the most iconic figures in Australian rugby league history. Alfie rose to fame as a diminutive yet formidable halfback, defying his small stature to dominate the sport for over a decade. His career was marked by incredible achievements, including captaining the Brisbane Broncos to multiple premierships and leading Queensland to State of Origin victories. Alfie's impact extends beyond his playing career. He has been inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and is a member of the Order of Australia for his contributions to rugby league. His legacy continues to inspire new generations of players and fans alike. Today, Alfie remains involved in the sport as a coach and ambassador, ensuring his influence on rugby league endures.

Gary Belcher is a renowned Australian rugby league personality, celebrated both as a former player and current commentator. Belcher began his career with the Souths Logan Magpies in the Brisbane Rugby League, winning a grand final in 1985 under the coaching of Wayne Bennett.
He later joined the Canberra Raiders in the NSWRL Premiership, where he won consecutive grand finals in 1989 and 1990 alongside legendary players like Mal Meninga, Ricky Stuart, Laurie Daley, Brad Clyde and Steve Walters.
During his 8 year stint with Canberra he played fullback in 16 State of Origins for the mighty Maroons. Internationally, Badge went on two Kangaroo Tours, 1986 and 1990, and played for Australia in 15 Tests between 1986 and 1991, including a notable Ashes series victory against Great Britain in 1990.
After retiring from playing in 1993 due to injuries, Belcher transitioned into coaching and media work. He has worked as assistant coach with the Qld Maroons and Broncos as well as on-air gigs with Triple M, Channel 9, Fox Sports and SEN.
