Men's Rugby World Cup

The Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia will take place from October 1 to November 13, 2027, marking the third time the country has hosted this prestigious tournament. It will also be the first edition to feature an expanded format with 24 teams instead of the previous 20. The expanded format and diverse host cities aim to showcase Australia’s iconic landscapes while uniting fans globally for six weeks of world-class rugby.

Seven host cities have been selected to welcome fans to the tournament: Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, and Townsville.

Sydney will host the final at Accor Stadium, marking the second time the city has hosted the final, the first being in 2003.
