Europe's premier youth music festival for choirs, bands, and orchestras, held every July in Vienna. Perform on world-famous stages like the Golden Hall of the Musikverein while connecting with ensembles from around the globe.

  • AIRFARES

    Return economy class flights Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney > Munich >  Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney (via one stop in each direction) to include airline taxes budgeted at $300 per person and subject to change.

    Included airfare is an estimation only. Fare subject to change upon release of firm fares within 12 months to departure. Suitable airlines and flight schedules to be reviewed upon release of 2026 travel dates.

  • ACCOMMODATION

    2x overnights in Salzburg in Berghof Graml, Austria Trend Salzburg Messe, Hotel Jufa Altenmarkt or similar
    5x overnights in Vienna in JUFA Wien City Hotel, Eventhotel Pyramide or similar
    2x overnights in Prague in Hotel Duo, Hotel Globus or similar
    1x overnight in Munich in H-Hotel, Hotel Super 8 or similar.

    Students in multi-bedded rooms, staff members in single occupancy rooms. Including daily buffet breakfast.

  • MEALS

    Daily three-course-dinner (welcome & farewell dinner included)
    3x Lunchboxes on 4th, 5th & 6th of July 2026 to facilitate a smooth festival schedule
    Reusable SCL water bottle for usage at tap water stations in the city (Austria has the best tap water in the world, right from the Austrian Alps!).

  • TRANSPORTATION

    Deluxe air-conditioned private coach throughout the tour including all costs for the drivers.

  • TOUR MANAGER

    1x English-speaking tour managers (one per bus) experienced in concert tour management throughout the entire tour.

  • GUIDED SIGHT SEEING

    Half-day city tour by professional licensed English-speaking local guide in Salzburg, Vienna, Prague and Munich
    Half-day Sound of Music tour with English speaking guide
    Entrance to House of Music in Vienna & 1 additional museum in Vienna
    Entrance to Mozart’s Birthplace Museum.

  • FESTIVAL SERVICES

    Participation fee: For students, the organization fee per person includes the following festival services (that are not subsidized by public or private sponsors):

    • Opening ceremony in St. Stephen’s Cathedral
    • Two workshops at the University of Music
    • Two additional concerts in and around Vienna
    • Competition only: one performance in front of the jury in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and possibly (the performing groups will be selected by the jury) a performance during the Gala Winners’ concert in the Konzerthaus
    • Celebration only: one performance in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein
    • Closing ceremony in the City Hall Vienna
    • Diplomas for every participant for the workshops attended at the University of Music
    • Online presentation of the biography of the group and the exact festival program
    • Printed festival program for every participant and conductor
    • Participation certificates for every group and every participant.

    For chaperones/adults (subject to availability and reconfirmation):

    • The Gala Winners’ Concert ticket at the Konzerthaus (Cat.3 worth € 72,00 per ticket)
    • Free entrance to all festival activities (except workshops/Academy program) including Closing Ceremony.

    Note: All venues of the SCL Festival are subject to reconfirmation when event preparations are underway.

  • CONCERTS
    • 1 professionally organized and promoted concert with other SCL ensembles in Salzburg
    • 2 professionally organized and promoted SCL additional concerts in or around Vienna
    • 1 professionally organized and promoted concert with other SCL ensembles in Prague

    Concert arrangements include the following:

    • Venue Hire, Publicity including flyers and posters for each concert & Concert Program.
  • MISCELLANEOUS

    • All local taxes & all gratuities (for hotel and restaurant staff, etc.)
    • 1.5hrs rehearsal in Vienna hotel prior to competition/celebration and a short soundcheck before each concert included
    • Gullivers tour bag.
